about

Thanks for reading! My name is Sarah, and  I'm a business, leadership, and life coach for passionate, talented, & inspired forward thinkers.

This means that I work with individuals, leadership teams, and organizations to figure out what's important, what's possible, where they want to go, and how to get there.

My approach to coaching is based on the belief that we are capable of achieving incredible things when we show up fully and authentically in each area of our lives - whether as a CEO, a parent, a manager, or after work at the gym. As we begin to do so, the concept of "work/life balance" becomes irrelevant, as our lives are no longer divided. When it's not possible, it begs the question of whether it's working.

I believe that we, as a society, are capable of some pretty amazing things if we tap into our natural potential and our creativity...and that we all have the opportunity to live a wildly fulfilling life. I believe that it's up to us to create it.

This blog is a place for reflection, information, and conversation about some of these themes.

In the meantime, I'll take a moment to answer the question I get most frequently about this work. "So.....what is coaching?"

The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to reach their personal and professional potential.

Coaches honor the client as the expert in his or her life and work and believe that every client is creative, resourceful, and whole. Standing on this foundation, my responsibility as your coach is to:

Discover, clarify, and align with what you want to achieve.

Encourage self-discovery.
Elicit solutions and strategies that are generated by you.
Hold you responsible and accountable.

Through this powerful process, my intention is to work together to find the brightest, most vivid, and most authentic versions of ourselves.

Little by little, through this work, my intention is that we will create more conscious and compassionate communities. We will build more creative and collaborative teams that achieve the unthinkable, while honoring and supporting the individuals who are part of them. And we will together make a positive dent in the world.

Thanks for reading!

In Gratitude,

Sarah
